One of the best parts of wedding photography is the opportunities that are created to pull together all the aspects of my photography career: photojournalism: I work for newspapers and this weekly/daily work sharpens my skills to keep in the moment and allow the photos to come to me. At the same time I also work for magazines working on methodically positioned portraits and again a wedding opens the door to amazing creative portraits. At the end of the journey with a couple I love looking back at the overall narrative the photos will tell not just the couple but their friends and family a month or two after the wedding but years and years to come back to . . . I also love the diversity of sites I've worked at from flying out to Los Angeles, the Natural History Museum in New York City, the House of Seven Gables in Salem, to intimate back yard settings they are all wonderful canopies for weddings to unfold. Looking forward to hearing about all the details of your big day!
